Our father, friend and centenarian, the Rev. Joseph Jessel (JJ) Williams went home to be with the Lord last evening, September 17, 2020.

Our hearts are filled with gratitude to God for his life and witness and we will long remember his contribution to the music of the church (and country) and his pastoral service in the denomination, primarily in the Richmond Vale circuit where he served for over eighteen years. Ordained in 1979, the Rev. Mr. Williams had by then spent some forty-three years working in the health sector as a Medical Technologist. He brought to his ministry in the Richmond Vale circuit a life of dedicated and committed service to God as a Christian and to this day his name is spoken with deep admiration by the members and people of the communities.

Indeed ‘the Lord giveth and the Lord has taken away; blessed be the name of the Lord’! (Job 1:21). Let us remember his family at this time.
