The Rev. Clement H.L. Gayle, one of our revered retired ministers, went home to be with the Lord this morning, May 3, 2020.

 The Rev. Mr. Gayle’s decades of service in the denomination includes pastoring the Zion Hill, St. Ann’s Bay and Walkerswood circuits and serving as Baptist/Warden/Tutor at the United Theological College of the West Indies (UTCWI).

While serving in that position he played an unparalleled role in the ministerial formation of generations of leaders of the Caribbean church, many of whom God has called to offer leadership in their respective denominations.

We thank God for his life and witness and pray that his family, close friends and all who will miss him deeply will draw strength and consolation from the God in whom he anchored his faith and for whom he lived his days.
